Senegalese Players Donate D7m to Tackle Coronavirus -Scorpions What Are You Waiting for?

Senegal national team players have taken initiative of contributing into the fight to combat coronavirus by pumping in millions of dalasis.

The players each sent in contributions of their own as efforts intensified following revelation Senegal’s number of cases is now beyond hundred.

The sum is little over seven million when converted to Gambian dalasis.

Only Bubacarr Trawally has bothered throwing in some cash amounting to D20,000 recently to the Local Initiatives For Total Success (LIFTS) to help them in their empowerment models and assist in their prevention and outreach measures of sensitizing people on the coronavirus.

Gambia has three confirmed cases of the covid-19 however materials such as hand sanitizers, gloves for local bakeries and corner-shop sellers remains a huge problem.

Most are unable to afford simple items like tissue papers for possible suffers of the ailment or for sanitation.
