Gambia, football and a deadly corona virus -are we playing?

Corona Virus is on the rampage across the globe with developed nations like Italy one of the most hit in Europe, Gambia News understands.

The Italian leadership had to cancel few Serie A games as precautionary amid fears of the virus spread.

Uefa at one point got affected by this turn of events talk-less of little Gambia whose health sector is under-funded and devoid of drugs.

Gambia have four players coming Italy namely Musa Barrow, vice-captain Omar Colley, Lamin Jallow and Musa Juwara for this month’s African Cup of Nation encounter versus Gabon.
This afcon is perhaps our best year.
Indicative of this is our early jet off in the group but the Corona virus could prove a stumbling block.
The virus is also spread via contact and as the world struggles to find cure to this dreaded menace, Gambia will, like other undeveloped committee nations of the world, remain worried for now.
