“Avoid Gatherings,” Oustass Drammeh Says after Gambia Confirmed 12 Corona Case

Popular Islamic scholar Oustass Abdoulie Drammeh has asked his followers stay away from public meetings.

Gambia registered its eleventh confirmed positive case of the pandemic that has infected over three million people world wide.

The newest case is said to be a Senegalese who sneaked into the country and has already been taken into isolation including his close contacts.

The trajectory comes as a huge blow just when Gambia’s last active case turned negative.

Meaning, the West Africans have eleven patients of the ailment with just one death registered since the first case in March.

” You all know the widespread disease called coronavirus, please avoid gatherings. The prophet even said “prevention is better than cure” so avoid going out during this time,” he said in a latest video.

Oustass Drammeh is one of the most popular voices and is followed for his moving lectures over radio and TV.
