President Barrow over the weekend bluffed of his NPP’s credentials to win the ballots when Gambia goes to the polls next year, Gambia News can report.
Barrow is seeking re-election in which a possible merger for the president with another political party is highly touted.

The 55-year-old was recently taunted by antics of a pressure group asking he remove his feet of the nation’s presidential seat in honour of a verbal agreement that launched him to power in 2016.

The group, styled as Three years Jotna, have had their leaders arrested and are being prosecuted for violent incitement which carries a possible life in jail in Gambian laws.
The group have been Barrow’s staunchest thorn but the property-seller-turned head of state looks resolute in his quest and is already planning sweeping the polls next year.
“There are so many parties. You can own a party but certainly not own the people because they decide where to go to.
“NPP with credible people in this party among them are likes of Hamat Bah, Henry Gomez and many others. We are poised to win. There is too much talk and there lot parties in the race but we will emerge victorious come 2021,” Barrow told an excited gathering in Basse yesterday evening.
