Gambia is bracing up for a scare after its coronavirus cases leaped incredibly to seventeen today .
It followed the confirmation of five news cases after laboratory tests.
The development comes as a huge blow throwing panic into the public amid growing fears there could be more undetected cases out there.
Already a woman who tested positive in Bakau has led to a planned massive sample-collecting being conducted tomorrow at the said town.
Only one death has been confirmed since Gambia’s first experience of the covid-19 March this year.
Globally, the corona has affected over three million people with over two hundred and forty-two thousand deaths while over a hundred thousand are believed to have recovered.
