Kitabu Tells Drivers: “Stop Overloading, Coronavirus Exists”

Comedian Kitabu has urged local drivers desist from overloading in the wake of the scary coronavirus.

Gambia confirmed its first positive case of the pandemic this week as 206 others remain under surveillance.

The Sports Council have also placed a temporary 21-day ban on all sporting activities in efforts to combat the menace.

And weighing in, popular Gambian comedian Kitabu has urged drivers avoid loading during what’s desperate moments for the nation and keep their cars clean all times.

” I will urge people remain clean and self-isolate. If you’re bored, watch Tv at home or use your phones. Also drivers plying the road should stop overloading at least for now.

“The same goes to the ferry services ; they should desist from piling up people. To my people coming abroad, please turn yourselves in to authorities so we could combat this coronavirus,” he said.
