Gambian footballer Modou Barrow has been ignored by his club after he returned to The Gambia without their prior approval.
The 27-year-old left his team camp after the Turkish league was suspended over the coronavirus.
This is the second time Barrow is running into trouble with his Denizlispor employers who acquired him on loan from English second division club Reading FC until end of the season.
Modou’s first run-in with his club centered around his pay and stormed out of the side, protesting his dues be settled – a thing that was sorted out quickly.
However, his club have chosen to resume training today without the player’s presence who in fact wouldn’t be allowed to leave Gambia’s shores due to the lock down.
