“I Used To Be Stubborn And Fought A Lot But Now I Want to Be That Role Model,” Says Miss Jobizz

Oumu Jobe has unraveled a part of her while growing up revealing she used to get in to lots of fights.

However, her decision to take to singing influenced by musical siblings, paved the path for the turning of a new leaf.

Of this passion, though, she would tell of how her dad considered stopping her from singing owing to bad experiences he had seen in the industry.

“How my dad was seeing music and how I see music is different. I’m trying to prove my parents wrong. Doing music and being bad is different,” she said.

“I used to be stubborn and fought a lot but now I want to be that role model not only to those in my family but my generation,” she told Skypowerfm, disclosing she is little wary of critics.

“I started from a long grind. What people have to say does not move me . At least today I’m known. That is why I put that in my song “they don’t like me but I won’t stop,” the J-Live Music signed artiste concludes.
