Aisha Elizabeth today appears to let off some digs at Gambians’ refusal to believe the existence of corona before she said it got too late.
Gambia have been ravaged by corona with at least nineteen people killed by the ailment that has rendered hundreds in quarantine centres.
And according to Aisha, Gambians do not believe until deaths started soaring.
“When the corona started people did not believe. They said the government wanted money. What money? Which countries are giving money? Would you rather have money than secure your health? The government can’t fight coronavirus alone. Now it is killing people,” the mother-of-one said.
The West African nation is currently experiencing a 21-day curfew beginning at 10:00 pm into the following morning.
