Jizzle over the weekend came under fire for flaunting wads of cash on his social media handle.
The current king of Gambia’s music scene posted two photos as he wore a hoodie, holding wads of cash to his right completed by a raised thumb as he looked away in the second snap right away from his window.
The pictures were captioned rather bizarrely “DOn’t let the cash control you!”
The snap were given damning interpretations by a huge section of fans as majority came hard at him advising he desist from showing off material wealth.
“Be humble and keep your self down to earth…not everything you have must be seen by enough people seen…….and follow your roots and culture,” one fan named Sidiya Manneh wrote before another added: “The richest man in Africa is Dangote. Am sure he is not sitting on social media flashing a pile of money.”
“Stop posting these kind of pics on social media, I know you are rich but be humble bro,” Algasim Bah ventured.
The photos most said were aimed at seeking public reaction and if at all that was the underlined intention, it certainly has generated some huge buzz but predictably, Jizzle refused to be drawn into making a comment.
