OnePac today came out offering a groveling apology after inviting public angst over his controversial posting.
The ex-convict-turned singer inevitably found himself on the lips of almost everyone when he made public a portrait featuring himself Jesus-like nailed to a cross which predictably didn’t sit well with Gambia’s second most dominant religious group including some Muslims.
However, he as come out clearing the air insisting it wasn’t meant for mockery.
“”I am just misunderstood in this situation. Sorry it wasn’t meant to be controversial or violent. All I can say is sorry. I owe the christian community,” he said.
It’s unclear what the christian council makes of it with a comment yet to emerge from the body as at press time.
