“I Want to Enjoy It, I Want to Win,” Says Rovers’ Youth Captain Ethan as He Joins Gambia’s U-20s

Ethan Bojang has voiced desire to want to enjoy what he calls a new experience following his invitation to Gambia’s U-20 squad.

The Doncaster Rovers’ U-18 captain is one of four foreign-based players to join in the mix of Young Scorpions training at the Yundum Goal Project.

Bojang took to the pitch to join rest of his new teammates as gaffer Matarr Mbodge awaits the arrival of Musa Juwara and Ebrima Darboe of AS Roma and Bologna respectively, one of the team’s key names including James Gomez based in Denmark.

Bojang was optimistic about the new challenge.

“First I want to try and settle in at first and enjoy it. Playing with a new team, a new style and hopefully do well,” he said.

Doncaster Rovers play in the English third tier and Bojang is yet to reach the first team having recovered from an injury last season but is named the team’s U-18 captain.
