JUST IN-Gambian Wrestling King Knocked Down in Senegal

Gambian ace Hoyantan lost to Baye Mandione in Senegal in what was dubbed a tense game but ending in a routing in the latter’s favour.

The two were scheduled to fight in Banjul but the bout had to be put off amid refusal from the Senegalese wrestler to cut his nails.

The duel was consequently postponed in the teeth of anger from home fans at the Independence Stadium.

Baye Mandione got chastised for his unsportmanlike behaviour.

However, a deal was signed again for the duel to happen this time in Senegal but the visiting Gambian who last won against “France” ending up losing just minutes ago.

The two grappled prior Baye Mandione -predictably the better wrestler in punching -did the thinkable, wrestled down his counterpart first going on all fours controversially before being knocked down sending him sprawling in the sands.

This is the first defeat of Hoyantane since sprouting in the game.
