This development comes on the heels of a combined twenty-seven tests of suspected cases five of which returned positive.
A statement from the Senegalese ministry of health pegs the West African french-speaking nation’s confirmed cases at 31 with no deaths as at yet.
Over to here in the Gambia, only one case is announced as at now with the patient being a UK-based Gambian lady in her 20s who flew into the country via Royal Maroc flight and turned herself in at the MRC after displaying symptoms of the illness.
