Gambia’s music president Gee has offered his apologies over recent remarks he made over Cess Ngom’s album launching yesterday.
Cess Ngom, Gambia News understands, was launching her debut album after eleven years in the music industry at the Pencha Mi Hall.
Gee appeared a bit livid over what he calls the lack of support given to Cess, tagged as Gambia’s queen of music.
However, Gee has sought contrition over his comment after receiving what looked like some backlash.
“Sorry bout my last post if I offended anyone, I wasnt trying to compare women or events or whatever.
“I was just disappointed and felt support wasnt given to cess when she needed it the most. The Gambian in me just had to blame something .. sorry,” he said.
