Cherno Samba Name His True Heroes of Coronavirus Crisis

Former Gambia international Cherno Samba has taken an extraordinay move to extol what he called the “unsung heroes” in the face of the coronavirus.

Currently in the United Kingdom where he grew up despite being born in the Gambia, the 36-year-old former England youth international feels health professionals deserve the thumbs-up for their sacrifice.

Coronavirus, an ailment beginning last December in China, has eaten deep into the world and the Samger Football Club owner believes these professionals deserve being supported.

“Whilst some folks are fighting over food and toilet roll, there’s another group who are just trying their best to ensure that we live..Our health professionals are the real unsung heroes as far as I am concerned and I pray that they stay safe and fully supported”
