Essa Faal has donated an additional 40,000 Gambian dalasis to a cause helping fend off hunger on poor Gambians during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
This is the second time the TRRC lead counsel is giving out to the National Food Covid-19 Aid, after his first last week coming in the form of a D35,000.
The amount is part of an over 300,000 Gambian dalasis contributed by Gambians abroad in a bid to ward off looming abject poverty with majority Gambians asked to restrict at home and not loiter around by a government’s state of emergency.
In the first donation, the international lawyer, facilitated for transportation of the goods.
Organised by Amie Jarjue and many other prominent Gambians, the cause’s target is to feed over 200 vulnerable families during these torrid times .
