This Club Could Lose 44 Million Dalasis If Hamza Barry’s Refuses to Sign their Contact

Gambia’s midfielder Hamza Barry could cause this European club to lose roughly 44 million Gambian dalasis.

The Scorpion is contracted to Croatian Premier League Hajduk Split but the deal ends this June if Fifa’s recent suggestion of extending due contracts of players owing to the coronavirus is not implemented.

Negotiations for Barry to sign a new contract with the team have been ongoing but reports say the player is more receptive to leaving with Hungary likely his possible destination.

Everton of the English Premier League and West Ham United have been long term admirers but that affection seems to have dwindled massively lately hence interest from clubs in Hungary for now.

Countryman Lamin Jallow was being evaluated as a possible replacement to fill the void if Hamza leaves Hajduk Split however Italian second division club Salernitana’s change of heart to feature Jallow lately could change this.

Hamza Barry current costs 800,000 euros in the transfer market which is the equivalent of 44,509,144 Gambian dalasis.

Hajduk may not to get all this money if they fail to sell the Gambia international before his contact elapses June.
