He went on to play for Stoke City and West Ham United in the Premier League before retiring in 2012 to take up acting as a later career. He was born in Norway to a Gambian father and comes from an Aku home originally in Banjul.

She is also in a movie as well and is born of a Gambian father and a Finnish mum.

Born in Denmark to a Gambian parent, David Jatta is also another big name in the musical game.
