Senegal’s Macky Sall has granted presidential pardon to prisoners in the spirit of the Ramadan.
Muslims across the world are expected to end their one-month fasting on Saturday which is to be preceded by prayers on Sunday.
Followers, during this time, often join loved ones to celebrate the event and seek forgiveness.
And in this spirit, Macky Sall has pardoned 1,021 prisoners, some of them “primary” and”minors” offenders inclufing convicts.
