Gambian actress Princess Shyngle has broken up with her fiance after a year of courtship, Gambia News understands.
The 30-year-old Nollywood star began dating Senegalese-born Frederic Badji May last year prior to getting engaged four moths later.
The pair have had their fair share of squabbles with the Gambian accusing her US-schooled partner of cheating on her.
Princess at one point rubbished Badji who allegedly threatening to commit suicide.
Serving imprisonment over charges of fraud, Frederic contacted coronavirus in jail but still kept in touch with his then wife-to-be who eventually lost her pregnancy.
And apparently fed up and having “fallen-out-love” with him, she thought it best to break up with him in a dramatic conversation she captured on camera.
The drama teed off when Fredric had called from jail and proposed they get married, an offer the Nollywood goddess turned down.

“There is no way I am going to getting married while you’re in jail. I’m not breaking up with you, I just need time to myself. The only thing that would save us right now is you coming out of jail,” she told him over the phone during their heated chat.
Disclosing further in her final series titled Discovering Princess Shyngle, the Gambian divulged she has moved on from the relationship and prayed he gets out of jail and finds a woman who would love him.

“I have thought about it after a week and I have made my decision, I can’t marry him . I think I have not gotten over the fact that he has lied to me, cheated on me. I blame him every single day for the lost of my baby. Even though I have forgiven him, the pain is still there, the memories are still there.

“I literally have zero trust for him. I have always put people first and I have no regret for putting myself first this time for the first time. My relationship with Fredric has taught me to give people second chance. My relationship with Fredric taught me never to put my relationship on social media . So if I found love and married, it is going to be very private,” she said.
