The Amount Hawks FC Received for the Sale of Barrow Has Been LEAKED and It’s In the Millions

Hawks Football Club are one of the richest sides of Gambia’s First Division after it turned out they received millions of dalasis for the sale of Musa Barrow.

Now 21, the attacker joined Atalanta in 2016 just after Gambia exited the Africa U-20 Youth Championship.

There have been long standing interest from Serie A side Atalanta in the goal-getter but he needed to enhance his game leading to his immediate integration to the club’s youth team.

He consequently impressed after snatching the youth team’s golden boot to earn promotion to the first team.

Typical of transfers involving Gambian players, there was no mentioning of the price agreed by Hawks and hence rebuffing greeted when the local press attempted to enquire over the fee.

However, a publication in Italy has gone ahead to leak the amount Hawks FC got paid for the services of Barrow which is in the millions of Gambian dalasis.

200,000 euros is the amount quoted by football Italia, the equivalent of little over 11million Gambian dalasis.

However, it’s unclear whether the four times FA Cup winners have installed any clause according them some tokens in any future sale of Barrow.

Musa is currently at Bologna having sealed a deal from Atalanta in a fees rising to 11 million euros (639 million dalasis) if he makes his recent loan permanent by 2021.
