“Practice What You Preach!” Barrow Attacked for Breaking Social Distancing Rules

Adama Barrow has come under fire for appearing to flout with social distancing rules.

Government have often reiterated the need for observance of social distancing as per WHO regulations in all its dispatches in the wake of Covid-19.

However, Barrow appeared to overlook these requisites amid a huge crowd greeting him as he headed to his Mankamang kunda village to spend the weekend.

Trolls did not, as a result, spare the nation’s leader.

“Teach what you practice….Barrow is telling people’s social distance in the markets and stuffs like that its good for our own safety but the reality is he himself practicing it I said no. Today on his way to mankamang kunda have you seen the crowd welcoming him on the way if he is promoting social distance and crowd he should release a press release saying that he don’t need any welcoming on the high ways but he didn’t do that,” Ebrima Jabbi said.

Sulayman Darboe was more blunt saying: “How could strict guidelines be observed at markets when a role model of our country is to encourage and influence a gathering around him in his home village.”

Decision was taken yesterday by government to re-open public meetings namely, mosques and markets in efforts at easing the lock down rules.
