Ousman Manneh has been sacked by German Bundesliga club after four years there.
The 23-year-old was signed by Werder Bremen as a teenage migrant who came to the European country through the perilous journey by boat.
He has had a brilliant breakthrough but got held back by injuries for two years. On his day, Mamino, as his sobriquet, will get consideration to Werder’s first team.
It is for such a moment which earned him his first Bundesliga goal in 2016 but stalled thereafter.
His deal has ended after the club chose not to renew his contract.
