Government have been urged to use celebrities to raise public awareness over the pandemic virus.
Kitabu, of recent, has been lamenting over the disregard of home-based celebrities.
However, minutes ago, he has urged president Barrow and his leadership to heighten its awareness campaign for the human-killer disease by using notable figures in society such as artistes.
“Awareness is not just going to places and giving people food. You need to use the right people for the cause. Government should use, Imam, singers, dramatists and the like to make this awareness campaign effective. These people need to be given money to do this effectively. Every one of these public figures have fans out there. So when they talk, the public listens,” Kitabu said.
