Gambia’s Ebou Adams Voted Second Best English Player of the Year

Ebou Adams capped off last season on a high but had to endure some pains after losing the running for the English League Two player of the year.

The 24-year-old was in the race for the gong with Harry Pickering whom he tied as runner-up as Plymouth keeper Alex Palmer grabbed the accolade.

The Gambia international won his English third division club Forest Green Rovers’ best player and fan favourite of the year prizes which earned him an extended contract.

A former Norwich City player, Ebou is a fast emerging defensive midfielder in the English lower tier and for the Gambia national team.
