Ousainou Darboe believes conversion of the Serrekunda Health facility to a treatment centre for coronavirus is an unwise decision.
The UDP stalwart’s remarks were issued on the anniversary of The Yellows as they turn twenty-four in Gambia’s political space.
“You have the gynecology department and all other units there. If we were in government, this is what we would have done -try and have treatment centres. Identify places and develop them as treatment centres rather than using the Serrekunda health centre,” Darboe said , suggesting the tent at State House be moved at a suitable location and converted to a treatment centre.
Gambia is battling rapid increase of coronavirus cases with deaths closing in on at least one hundred.
