Scorpions In Buoyant Mood Hours from Gabon Tussle

The likes of captain Pa Modou Jagne and Dawda Ngum were in buoyant mood hours away from today’s encounter versus Gabon.

The players flocked out of the tunnel tripping down onto the pitch as Jagne and Dawda Ngum shared a joke while Scorpions’ new boy Kalifa Manneh laughed in the background.

Manneh was unavailable during the lost to Gabon last week in the first leg ending 2-1.

It took a goal from Babucarr Jobe to reduce the deficit to one after Bubacarr Trawally had meandered past three defenders into the box to cross out to an unmarked Jobe who cantered it into the net.

Trawally was also pictured battling the ball with former local club teammate Ablie Jallow who was the game’s standout for the Gambian in Francville.

The scorpions sit second in the group on four points behind Aubameyang-inspired Gabon.
