Citizen Alliance’s flag-bearer-in-the-making Ismaila Ceesay this week spewed coded drips ahead of the fast approaching next polls.
Tipped to be a potential rival in the pool of opposition figures seeking to dislodge Barrow from the State House, Ismaila believes Gambia’s back-pedalling is linked to the current status quo.
“The power of this country has not been matched by the leadership we have so far. This is why women are dying in labour, the education sector is poor, poor roads including poor health sector. We (CA) have diagnosed every problem even the ones coming ahead the next 20 years. There is need for reforms in this country,” he said.
Ceesay became Barrow’s thorn when the incumbent offered him a mention questioning his patriotism during the 2016 torrid times after the former had asked the president’s qualities be reviewed.
