Lang Tombong Tamba has repudiated Bunja Darboe’s claims he was slapped on back of the head.
Bunja in a previous hearing aired by Jammeh right violations investigating committee alleged he was bundled before a panel in an intimidating -like surrounding.
Narrating how he as apprehended after news of a coup he was cooking leaked and its leader sped off, Bunja told of how adversely mentioned Brigadier General Martins circled behind him and slapped him at back of the head, telling him “You think we’re joking here”.
Circumstances of how the panel setup to investigate the foiled coup obtained suspects’ statements was the TRRC’s subject of probe this afternoon.

And grilled over Bunja’s claims of torture, Lang Tombong, one of the panelists, denied any form of maltreatment meted out to the now reinstated Darboe saying “it did not happen in my presence”.
