“Lamin Jallow Should Leave His Club, It Makes No Sense Staying,” Says Gambian’s Agent

The agent Lamin Lamin Jallow believes it makes no sense if the Gambian continues to stay at Italian second division side Salernitana.

The erstwhile Bakau United forward was his club’s finest performer last season and was on a similar trail this suspended football term before his problem with fans.

The 24-year-old made a hand gesture which angered his club supporters though he had apologised for it but was still relegated on the bench by his coach Ventura.

Between then offers have been made by clubs looking to snatch him away notable among them being Hamza Barry’s Croatian team Hajduk Split, Lazio and a very ambitious Al Ahly of Egypt.

This pressure sort of softened the club’s position leading the coach to feature the Gambian again as he headed towards reigniting his form before the coronavirus pandemic swept the world off its feet causing suspension of leagues across Europe.

However, the Ex-Gambia U-19 attacker’s agent Luigi Sorrentino has been speaking recently over the Scorpion’s future.

In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense for him to stay, he should change (clubs) but he has two years left of his contract and any decision will have to be made by mutual agreement with the club. Return to the field? we are waiting. The players talk to each other but there is no news,” he told campania.

Lamin is valued around 1.4m euros in the transfer market.
