Figures of confirmed positive cases of the coronavirus are on the rise after Gambia registered a latest victim of the pandemic.
All had been smooth sailing in recent weeks for Gambia until the recent announcement of a positive case.
In the lead up to that, the nation have had a brief break from any more confirmed issues of the epidemic-turned pandemic after the new six incidents.
However, to the shock of most amid fear, a new test emanating from the laboratory revealed a new positive case who it turned out was declared Covid-19 free after the first examination.
“Out of the 23 lab results received, one returned positive,” director medical service Mustapha Bittaye tells the press.
