Gambia do not have a leader but a president, insists Gambia Action Party’s flagbearer Alhagie Lamin Bojang.
General Bojang has been trending of late spewing controversial comments.
First he granted an interview to US-based online outfit The Freedom Newspaper alleging Darboe orchestrated his initial sacking at State House when he was vice-president prior to his subsequently re-hiring and eventual resignation.
His party followed up that interview with rebuttal, rubbishing the assertions .
However, barely days later, he has meandered into muddy waters again claiming president Adama Barrow does not possess leadership qualities.
Drawing a comparison between what used to obtained during the first and second regimes, Bojang found time to aim a shot at Barrow.
“Gambia do not have a leader but a president. You can’t compare with Jawara’s time to the demands in our current generation. If a leader loses his integrity then it’s finish because he (Barrow) made promises he couldn’t fulfill beginning with the coalition,” he told Star FM today.
