Senegal are again in mourning today following the death of another coronavirus patient.
The latest victim is a 94-year-old resident at Thies who died on Tuesday at his home but was announced today, says the Senegalese health ministry.
Tests were later carried on the corpse with examination turning positive of the coronavirus yesterday.
The French-speaking West African country has a total 1,492 confirmed cases of the pandemic of which 562 recovered with 13 deaths.
