President Barrow is slated to face the nation after over two weeks away from the public.
The 56-year-old has been in self-isolation since July 29th after his deputy Isatou Touray tested positive to the coronavirus which is fast becoming the biggest killer of Gambians.
Status of the remaining cabinet ministers also afflicted by the pandemic remain unknown for now.
Barrow was later declared free of the ailment but hasn’t shown up the last two weeks amid intense demands from Gambians for their leader to show up on TV.
However, he has finally agreed to show up on TV tonight at 8pm – a similar promise he made about a week ago but failed to honour.
