It’s been some moment of huge relief for The Gambia after no deaths were registered this week.
The West African nation have been documenting deaths due to poor regard to social distancing rules with casualty rate hitting 63.
However, the brakes appear to have been applied to that at least for today after coronavirus situation report in the country released by the health ministry showed no deaths.
Of a huge worry though is 244 new cases have been confirmed including activist Madi Jobarteh with 14 new patients said to have recovered.
Meanwhile, 331 people are under quarantining.
